We are Craftwork Master Thatchers, serving both Kent & Surrey with over 20 years experience, working on a wide variety of properties ranging from new-builds and extensions to period listed cottages, both here in the UK and overseas. Craftwork Master Thatchers is owned by Ben Rance who qualified from Europe’s only thatching academy, Knuston Hall, where he served a full traditional apprenticeship and formed BRSA Master Thatchers in Surrey in 2008.

We enjoy working with all materials, specialising in Norfolk reed, Norfolk sedge, continental reed, combed wheat reed and longstraw.
